Lori Sievers is a member of the Firm's Health Law Department. Her practice focuses on long term care and she represents assisted living facilities, home care agencies, nursing homes and hospice providers in regulatory and licensing matters. She concentrates on representing health care facilities and providers before the Department of Health. She assists her clients in navigating the state certificate of need process and represents assisted living facilities in legislative and regulatory matters, licensure and certification and business organization issues. Ms. Sievers also is experienced in securing Medicare and Medicaid approvals for providers. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association and the Capital District Women's Bar Association, where she is chair of the CARE and Classroom Committee.
