Lori Sievers is a member of the Firm’s Health Law Department. Her practice focuses on state and federal regulatory compliance issues for health plans, and representation of health care facilities and providers before the Department of Health. She assists her clients in navigating the state certificate of need process and has a specialization in representing assisted living facilities in legislative and regulatory matters, licensure and certification and business organization issues. She is also experienced in securing Medicare and Medicaid approvals for providers. Ms. Sievers’ clients include Empire State Association of Assisted Living; Excellus/Empire; GVGHA (Genesse Valley Group Health Association) and GRHC (Genesse Region Home Care). She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Capital District Women’s Bar Association, and American Health Lawyers Association.
