Philip Murphy is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Law, Estate and Financial Planning and Health Law Departments. His practice encompasses a wide range of regulatory, organizational and transactional matters including business planning, mergers and acquisitions, purchase and sale of businesses, real estate transactions, bond financing and other commercial transactions on behalf of health care providers and insurers, various business entities and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Murphy has ten years of experience in hospital finance during which time he served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer at two Albany, New York-area hospitals.

Mr. Murphy has represented Firm clients on a range of matters, including representation of New Covenant Charter School in the issuance of a $16.6 million bond issue through the City of Albany Industrial Development Agency and representation of Schenectady Family Health Services, including a $4.7 million building construction project. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Saratoga Bar Association and American Health Lawyers Association.
