Elizabeth Misa is a member of the firm's Governmental Relations Department representing the interests of a variety of clients before the Legislature and Executive Branch. Prior to joining Hinman Straub, Ms. Misa worked as a Research Policy Analyst for 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, the largest local healthcare union in the nation representing 275,000 members in New York, Maryland, Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. While there, she focused on research related to union campaigns, political campaigns, and State and Federal budget issues directly impacting health care facilities and health care workers.
